I found the Thomas Flack Engravers website whilst researching the purchase of a Seal Ring for the 18th Birthday present of my grandson Jack. I was most impressed with the website and on contacting the company for advice and information I spoke to Mr Thomas Flack and it was obvious that a personal service was very important to him. This is just to repeat how absolutely delighted both Dilys and I are by the superb seal-engraving on my ring. We cannot believe it could be executed any better than it is. I repeat that you may use any photos of it and the impression in any way you like if you feel it will help show the excellence of your work. One of the things that completely amazed everyone when they were looking at the detail, was that scarcely visible to the naked eye they are so small, but clearly visible under a magnifying glass are the rivets down the centre of the helmet, and the cross shaped breathing slit with round-holed ends on the helmet. Nobody thought it would be possible for them to be there, but they are: a tribute to superb hand engraving. That can however only be seen on a reasonable sized picture, yet are such a powerful proof of excellence of engraving that I feel you should have a picture which clearly shows them - and points them out to the viewer as proof that no detail, however small, has been missed. After all it is in any real sense more your ring than mine - you made it, I simply have the privilege of wearing it.''
